About Josh: Joshua Alleman is 26 years old and is a college graduate with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Marketing Management & Supervision. He is currently working in digital marketing as a Senior Associate in the Paid Search department at a large marketing agency and is responsible for creating Google Search Ads for large companies. Josh has dreams of traveling the world doing art shows and displaying his pieces for people. He is excited for what the future may hold and is looking forward to getting more of his pieces off of his computer and into the physical world for people to see. Growing up, Josh was always fascinated with computers and what they could do. From a young age, Joshua taught himself how to interact with computers in different ways. Josh has always been surrounded by art – with artistry running in his family – so naturally, he mixed computers and artistry to develop the digital art style that he has today.

One day while Josh was in college, he became interested in the idea of creating art with the computer as opposed to creating art on the computer. He researched ways to use the computer as a partner in art creation instead of just a tool and landed upon an old fractal generation program called Mandelbulb 3D. (The program is free, and Josh encourages everyone to download and play around with it.) Josh creates art through the program by mixing and tweaking mathematic algorithms to create the base shapes for each piece and then adding the colors, shadows, highlights, etc. that make each piece special. Josh creates art for the sake of creation and self-expression, and he hopes you enjoy viewing his work!
