Well Behaved Women Rarely Make History – a panel discussion with FAU professors Candace Cunningham, Sika Dagbovie-Mullins & Karen J. Leader provides insight into the life and work of notable women such as Ruby Bridges, Rosa Parks, Maya Angelou, Kamala Harris, Frida Kahlo, Jane Goodall and Malala Yousafzai along with how their mission relates to today’s circumstances. This program will be moderated by Makiba J. Foster, M.A., MLIS, regional manager, African American Research Library and Cultural Center includes a Q & A session, an optional tour of the Art Gallery and complimentary refreshments.
