Comedian Tracy Morgan returns to Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Fla. at the resort’s Hard Rock Event Center on Saturday, Nov. 3, at 8 p.m. Cell phones and other mobile devices are prohibited for this show to create the best distraction-free environment for all in attendance. Mobile devices must be held by guests in locked Yondr cases during the performance. Yondr cases are lockable, flexible, neoprene pouches that assure a phone-free event experience. The show’s content is intended for mature audiences.
Tracy Morgan is one of the most respected comedians in his field. Starring for seven seasons on NBC’s Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning “30 Rock,” Morgan appeared opposite Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin as Tracy Jordan, the unpredictable star of Lemon’s (Fey) hit variety show, “TGS with Tracy Jordan.” In 2016, he headlined a nationwide stand-up tour titled, “Picking Up the Pieces,” and in May 2017, his stand-up special, “Staying Alive” was released globally on Netflix. Morgan can currently be seen in the TBS show, “The Last OG” which he stars in and executive produces.
From his work on “30 Rock,” Morgan has received an Emmy Nomination in the Supporting Actor category and been nominated multiple years for the Supporting Actor NAACP Image Award. The “30 Rock” cast has also won the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series. The beloved series came to an end in January 2013. Outside of the show, Morgan also received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Guest Actor in a comedy series in 2016 for hosting an episode of “SNL.”
Upon entry to Hard Rock Event Center, guests with mobile devices will receive Yondr cases and must secure their devices, including smart watches and cameras, inside the locked cases. Guests will be required to switch their phones to vibrate to avoid disruption from incoming notifications. It is the responsibility of each guest to maintain possession of their mobile device inside the venue. Doors will open 90 minutes prior to the start of the 8 p.m. show to allow guests ample time to secure their devices and take their seats. The pouches will be unlocked at the end of the show. If needed, guests will be able to use their phones at designated areas.
