What is the MOST Amazing Race?
The MOST Amazing Race is originally modeled after the Amazing Race TV show. Teams of 2 and 4 people set out on a quest to various locations throughout the city where challenges – either mental, physical, or food related – are completed for points. The first team to cross the finish line with the most points wins! Now in its 11th year, the Race is an initiative of The Salvation Army of Broward to fund programs and services for our clients who face multiple challenges and obstacles every day.
The Challenges
Participants are provided a map of the challenge locations within 4 different zones throughout the designated boundary. Each challenge is assigned a point value. From there, they set out to complete as many challenges as they can within the 3.5-hour time limit.
The first team to cross the finish line with the most points wins The 2017 MOST Amazing Race!
Who can race?
Participants must be 18 years of age or older. However, everyone is invited to participate inside Vendor Village located within Esplanade Park during and after the race.
This year’s Race is, again, open to teams of 2 and 4. From power walker to marathoner, arm-chair quarterback to cross-fit enthusiast, or the obstacle course racer, everyone is encouraged to participate.
The race features challenge locations and challenges accessible to all levels of fitness and ability.
The Venue Logistics and Boundaries
