Samantha Bee is known for her sharp, fearless comedic voice. Born in Toronto, she began with the sketch troupe The Atomic Fireballs before joining The Daily Show in 2003, where she became the longest-serving correspondent (12 years). In 2016, she launched the acclaimed TBS late-night series Full Frontal with Samantha Bee, praised for its bold, satirical look at news and overlooked stories, running seven seasons. Bee is the author of I Know I Am, But What Are You? , has been named to the TIME 100, and hosts the podcast Full Release. With her husband Jason Jones, she co-created the TBS comedy The Detour. She also founded the production company Swimsuit Competition to develop inclusive narrative and documentary content.
