The South Florida design community is rallying behind The Salvation Army of Broward County pledging new support and creativity to help the homeless. The nonprofit organization recently welcomed Havertys Furniture and the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) Florida South as sponsors of its seventh annual Red Shield ReDesign Bash slated to take place at The Galleria at Fort Lauderdale (2414 East Sunrise Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale) on Friday, October 11, from 6:30 p.m. – 9 p.m. The evening will showcase stylish restored, redesigned, rehabilitated and repurposed furniture and home accessories that will be auctioned off to help the Broward County community in need.
The event will showcase furniture and home accessories that are transformed into one-of-a-kind art pieces. Event attendees will have the opportunity to bid on their favorite redesigned and repurposed treasures during the evening of food, drinks and fun. Proceeds from the auction and event will support the many shelter, feeding, and case management programs at The Salvation Army of Broward County.
Tickets for The Salvation Army of Broward County’s seventh annual Red Shield ReDesign Bash are $100 for general admission and $175 for VIP (includes priority seating and a pre-event cocktail reception) and are available at bit.ly/RedShieldReDesignBash2019. Admission is free for participating designers.
