To help Floridians spring into health this season, Florida KidCare has teamed up with Walmart to encourage healthy behaviors through its popular Wellness Day event. Walmart Wellness Day takes place across the country, and it offers shoppers access to free blood pressure and blood glucose tests, BMI screenings and free product samples*, along with information about health insurance and new health products. To inform Florida families about the availability of affordable health and dental insurance for children, Florida KidCare will have staff on-site in four South Florida stores to answer questions and walk parents through the application process.

Florida KidCare coverage is available across Florida, and parents can apply any time at www.floridakidcare.org. Enrollment is open year-round. Most families pay nothing at all, and many pay just $15 or $20 a month for high-quality health and dental insurance coverage.
