This is a story about Drew’s discovering of his authentic self, opening his heart and coming to terms with his place in the world. This is also an adventure that crosses Spain as he walks the 500 mile pilgrimage called “El Camino de Santiago.” While on the Camino, Drew learns more then he bargained by visiting the darkness of his childhood. As a codependent, middle-aged divorcee, solo traveler, Drew learns how to forgive, let go and relish his own company all while learning the nuances of real, meaningful friendships. But the road trip doesn’t stop there. When the path is complete, Drew hits the road backpacking his way as far west as Ireland, as far east as Istanbul, from Germany in the north and as far south as Greece. He overcomes threats on his life and learns all about history in this culturally rich region of the world. But he isn’t alone, he has Anxiety and Fear as his constant companions until he meets his new best friend, Peace. “Can I” started every question he had prior and during his journey of self discovery. Now he has all the answers he will ever need in life. Join Drew on this adventure and see if you have your own journey of self discovery.
