Inspired by the organic, flowing shapes found in paintings by Diana Motta, create your own painting on canvas, exploring the gestural energy captured in each brush stroke. Creativity Exploration adult workshops promote the benefits of material exploration and the mind-to-body experience. “Research suggests that experiencing art and creativity, even for a few minutes a day, has tangible effects on our mental and physical health” (New York Times). In addition to producing a sense of well-being, sessions expand participants’ perceptions of forms, while increasing brain connectivity through visual and cognitive stimulation. The workshop is led by educator Lark Keeler, a specialist in mindfulness education.
