Saturday, November 3, 2018, walkers, runners, and wheelchair participants will unite tochildren at Broward Children’s Center.
For the 15th year, Broward Children’s Center, along with a number of community partners, will be hosting the annual Miles for Smiles event at the Pompano Beach Community Park (NE 10th St.). The fundraiser helps fund the medical, educational, therapeutic, and recreational services provided to the infants, children, young adults, and families served at Broward Children’s Center.
The family-friendly walk and run features fun activities, live music, community vendors, FREE food, raffles, awards, and more! We welcome walkers, runners, joggers, wheelchairs, strollers, and well-behaved pets!
Check-in starts at 8:00 AM and the race starts at 9:00 AM.
Registration for the event will remain open until Thursday, November 1 at 11:00 PM. $20 – Early Bird Registration; $25 – General Admission; $30 – Day of Registration. Children ages 10 and under are FREE; discounted tickets are offered to military and law enforcement personnel. Each participant will receive a t-shirt, breakfast, and a walk bag.
100% of proceeds support the medical, educational, therapeutic, and recreational programs offered at Broward Children’s Center.
Broward Children’s Center is a 501 (c)(3) that provides service and care to infants, children, and young adults with special needs. Since 1971, BCC has operated in Pompano Beach, Florida, serving both local and national children and their families.
