Beginning Friday, February 3 - 5 the Fort Lauderdale Historical Society welcomes Mary Ann Carroll, Florida's First Lady of Highwaymen Art, the only woman of the original generation that created works of art at a time when not only was Florida segregated racially, but women were also not allowed to engage openly in commercial, credit and business negotiations.

Features presentations  about the cultural impact of Black Art, Architecture and Design on South Florida communities.
