Formed in 1969, the band became a top-selling American rock group of the 70s with their high-energy performances and hits like “We’re an American Band.” Founding members Don Brewer (vocals, drums) and Mel Schacher (bass) are still at the helm, joined by a stellar lineup: Max Carl (vocals, 38 Special), Mark Chatfield (guitar, Bob Seger’s Silver Bullet Band), and Tim Cashion (keyboards, Bob Seger, Robert Palmer).
