Week 2: July 7 – 11: Wild About Wildlife Week
Join Manatee Lagoon – An FPL Eco-Discovery Center®, Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium, and Loggerhead Marinelife Center as we embark on an action-packed virtual summer adventure. Campers will come along on a virtual adventure to hear about the intriguing stories of some amazing animals and learn how they can help conserve wildlife in their own lives.
Our week-long virtual camp experiences will feature half-day schedules filled with animal observations, experiments, games, crafts and educational lessons hosted by educators from each organization and will be focused on wildlife and the environment. Lessons are targeted for children ages 6 to 9, however other ages are welcome to register and participate. Camp sessions will feature a variety of live* lessons and video recordings, as well as supplemental at-home activities and printables.
