United Way of Broward County’s Commission on Behavioral Health & Drug Prevention’s Broward Youth Coalition (BYC) will host its annual Youth Leadership Institute (YLI), virtually this year, on Wednesday, June 16 and Thursday, June 17 via Zoom.
• This FREE, 2-Day FUN virtual youth summit for 8th grade through high school graduating seniors will focus on mental health promotion, resilience during a pandemic, substance use prevention, leadership, advocacy through youth-led sessions, and will provide a chance for youth to connect with their peers.
• This virtual event will feature special guests, including Keynote Speaker Colber Prosper, Founder and Senior Consultant of Prosper & Partners, a global personnel and organizational consulting firm that seeks to develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
• Participants have the chance to earn community service hours, participate in Kahoot and other fun ways for a chance to earn prizes.
