Museum of Discovery and Science (MODS) Virtual Distinguished Speaker Series Event “Dinosaurs of Antarctica” to be held Thursday, January 7 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. via Zoom.
•    Join MODS and journey to the south polar landscapes of Antarctica hundreds of millions of years ago and roam among the primitive forests and thick swamps with bizarre dinosaurs and colossal amphibians.
•    Enjoy a screening of “Dinosaurs of Antarctica” and hear from our panel of Distinguished Speakers including:
o    Dr. Nathan Smith, paleontologist and associate curator of the Dinosaur Institute at the Natural History Museum in Los Angeles.
o    Dr. Patricia Ryberg, paleobotanist and associate professor of biology at Park University.
o    Libby Ives, sedimentology and PhD student at the University of Wisconsin.
•    The film will be emailed prior to the presentation and attendees will have the option to either watch it in advance or follow along with MODS after the main presentation.
•    The Distinguished Speaker Series invites science and conservationists of all ages to learn from internationally acclaimed biologists, scientists, conservationists, researchers and educators.
