Broward County’s biggest and longest-running environmental event celebrates its 40th anniversary on March 4, 2017

The Broward County Waterway Cleanup is organized by the Marine Industries Association of South Florida and Marine Industry Cares Foundation. In 2016, nearly 1,500 volunteers of all ages by land and by boat worked at more than 30 locations across the county to remove 22 tons of trash and debris from our waterways, rivers and canals.
