South Florida’s Major Cultural Institution, Symphony of the Americas, presents internationally acclaimed guest artists from around the globe in its celebrated Summerfest music festival. As the longest running music festival in Florida, Summerfest brings the masterful sounds of its popular Chamber Orchestra, along with musicians and soloists from renowned orchestras throughout Europe to south Florida venues to perform several styles of classical and popular music. Artistic Director Maestro James Brooks-Bruzzese will lead a vibrant musical program featuring music of Vivaldi, Beethoven, Tartini, Dvorak, and Mozart. Highlighted is a commissioned composition by Italian composer in residence, Lorenzo Turchi-Floris.
