On April 6, 2016, the Symphony of the Americas Society will host its Annual Style & Substance Luncheon at The Ritz Carlton, Fort Lauderdale, honoring prominent individuals who have distinguished themselves through outstanding service and commitment to our community. This exceptional group has reached out to touch the lives of untold numbers of people through their generous gifts of time, talent, and resources.

At this luncheon The Rose Miniaci Legacy Award will be presented to her by the Symphony of the Americas, in recognition of her remarkable achievements.  Rose is the pinnacle of Style & Substance and has spent a lifetime making a difference.  Her passion for education and the arts is legendary.

Many organizations, too numerous to mention, have benefitted from her commitment and generosity to our community. Rose has created an educational endowment at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts which allows school children from all socio-economic backgrounds to take advantage of learning through the arts. She has provided funds for high school students to pursue their education in the arts. To this day, Rose continues to enrich the lives of all who reside here and embodies the true spirit of philanthropy and service.

Other honorees include David Boothe, Tracy L. Bradford, Greg & Pamela Cook, Rose Marie Cossick, Commissioner Chip & Eileen LaMarca, Carl Taylor & Charlotte Mather-Taylor, Juliet Murphy Roulhac, Randy & Kim Sweers and Mark & Christine Swenson.

The Style & Substance Luncheon, Co-Chaired by Lisa Scott-Founds and Paul Sallarulo, will include a performance by the Symphony of the Americas String Orchestra. Former Style & Substance honorees will be invited to “walk the runway” with beautiful music from the Symphony orchestra in the background. The event will begin with a Champagne Reception and fabulous Silent Auction.  The Ritz Carlton will serve a three course gourmet lunch accompanied by fine wines.

Proceeds from the annual Style & Substance Luncheon will fund and enhance the Symphony of the Americas outreach programs throughout Broward County.
