Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Famer Steve Miller and Grammy Award-winning guitarist Peter Frampton return to Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Fla. after a successful tour last summer at. They will perform at the resort’s new Hard Rock Event Center on Saturday, July 21, 2018, at 7:30 p.m.
Steve Miller was a mainstay of the San Francisco music scene that upended American culture in the late 1960s. With albums like “Children of the Future,” “Sailor” and “Brave New World,” Miller perfected a psychedelic blues sound that drew on the deepest sources of American roots music and simultaneously articulated a compelling vision of what music and society could be in the years to come. In the 1970s, Miller crafted a brand of pure pop that was polished, exciting and irresistible – and dominated radio in a way that few artists have ever managed with hits such as “Take The Money and Run,” “Rock’n Me,” “Fly Like an Eagle,” “Jet Airliner,” “Jungle Love,” and more.
Peter Frampton remains one of the most celebrated artists and guitarists in rock history. At age 16, he was the lead singer and guitarist for British band The Herd. At age 18, he co-founded the seminal rock act Humble Pie, one of the first super groups. His session work includes collaborations with legendary artists including George Harrison, Harry Nilsson, David Bowie, Jerry Lee Lewis, Ringo Starr, John Entwistle and many others. His fifth solo album, the electrifying “Frampton Comes Alive!” recently celebrated its 40th anniversary and remains one of the top-selling live records of all time.
