Celebrate the Arts Community of Greater Fort Lauderdale during SMArtWalk at Sistrunk   Marketplace & Brewery.
* Sistrunk Marketplace & Brewery is participating in ArtWalk in FAT Village and is celebrating the Arts Community of Greater Fort Lauderdale by showcasing one Fort Lauderdale artist on the last Saturday of every month throughout the year.
* Each Art Show will take place at the Rum Bar Lounge inside Sistrunk Marketplace & Brewery and will feature specialty cocktails highlighting each artist of the month.
* During the month of July, art created by featured artist Kyle Schindler will be displayed.
* Kyle Schindler is a mixed media artist who uses various techniques of graffiti style painting with spray paint and other elements on canvas. Growing up in the 80’s Schindler’s art absorbs the pop culture atmosphere that defined the decade.
* Many similar pieces of art will be displayed and available for purchase.
* Additionally, Sistrunk Marketplace has launched a “Global Mural” project on the exterior of their building and each month during SMArtWalk, they will showcase a LIVE painting by an artist of choice.
* The purpose of this mural is to bring community together through the arts. The mural will be constantly revolving not only by expressing Sistrunk Marketplace & Brewery’s love for the arts but also expressing love for the planet
* Arty Van Gogh Bus “Paint the Pint” will be available to attendees in the parking lot. All materials, paints and supplies will be provided for guests to create and design their own pint glass for $10.  All proceeds benefit Art Reaching Today’s Youth, Inc. (“ARTY”) which was established in 2016 for the means of providing visual art classes to the underserved children of Broward County.
* Sistrunk Marketplace & Brewery is a proud supporter of the growing Fort Lauderdale arts community and monthly art walks located in FAT Village.
