To help ensure that South Florida students have the tools they need to be successful in school, Blaze Fast Fire’d Pizza, the recognized leader in fast, artisanal pizza, is collecting school supplies at participating South Florida locations on Tuesday, July 30, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Anyone who drops off wish list items during that time at a participating Blaze Pizza location will receive a buy-one-get-one-free pizza offer.
Items from the wish list may be dropped off only during the collection period at participating South Florida locations: West Kendall (12305 Southwest 137th Avenue), Davie (2135 South University Drive), Fort Lauderdale (6334 North Andrews Avenue), West Boca (20522 South State Road 7).
Donated supplies will benefit the Chapman Partnership for the Homeless in Miami-Dade County, Broward Education Foundation and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County.
Items being collected at the Blaze Pizza locations are: backpacks; lunch boxes; packages of No. 2 pencils, blue or black pens, colored markers, colored pencils, highlighters and crayons; composition notebooks; packages of loose leaf paper; spiral notebooks; pocket folders; three-ring binders; rulers; protractors; glue sticks; calculators; index cards, pencil sharpeners and pencil cases.
