The Frank art gallery presents “Prism,” an exhibition that presents an interdisciplinary view of LGBTQIA identity and diversity by using the arts as a catalyst for dialogue. The aim of Prism is to expand the community’s progressive attitude beyond the mainstream population by celebrating the collective diversity and fostering an inclusive space that is able to effect social change through art. The new exhibition will open Friday, February 22 from 6 to 9 p.m. with a free reception and a special family-friendly performance by iconic South Florida entertainer, Tiffany Fantasia. The new exhibition will be on display until May 4. For a limited time in the Third Space Gallery, The Frank presents “Florida Imagined,” an exhibition by the artists of The Inspired Artist Studios @ PARC, a St. Petersburg-based career advancement initiative for artists of all ages with intellectual and developmental disabilities wishing to participate in Florida’s thriving creative industry. In addition, as the new Arts4All Florida Museum Residency partner for Broward County, The Frank will also showcase artworks created by local middle school and high school students with disabilities during this on-site Museum Residency program from April 4 through May 4.
