Houston Ballet Principals Yuriko Kajiya and Jared Matthews will join Symphony of the Americas for the upcoming Music on Pointe concert, one of the two remaining performances of the Symphony’s celebrated 30th Anniversary Season. Kajiya and Matthews will dance the wedding pas de deux from Sleeping Beauty, as well as the Act Three pas de deux from Coppelia. Other works on the program include the Offenbach Overture, La Vie Parisienne; Jupiter from The Planets; Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake Overture, Rhapsodie Roumaine in A by Enesco and portions of the Mozart Symphony No. 40.
