Library Foundation Announces 13th Annual LitLUNCH! with New York Times Bestselling Author Xochitl Gonzalez

 A Fort Lauderdale-based philanthropic women’s luncheon will feature debut author of Olga Dies Dreaming, a novel to be adapted for Hulu.

The Broward Public Library Foundation will celebrate their 13th annual LitLUNCH! event on Friday, February 17, 2023 with New York Times bestselling author Xochitl Gonzalez. This inspiring businesswomen-centric event is a gathering of avid South Florida readers who value the opportunity to listen to and learn from a stimulating author. LitLUNCH! begins at 11:15 a.m. with rosé wine followed by book signings, shopping the Kendra Scott jewelry line, luncheon, raffle, and an entertaining presentation by the author. LitLUNCH! will be the kick-off event for the Library Foundation’s Night of Literary Feasts.

About the Author: Xochitl Gonzalez’s New York Times bestselling debut novel, Olga Dies Dreaming, was named a Best of 2022 by TIME, Boston Globe, Vogue, Bustle, and more. She received her M.F.A. from the Iowa Writers’ Workshop, where she was an Iowa Arts Fellow and the recipient of the Michener-Copernicus Fellowship for Fiction. A screenwriter and cultural critic, Gonzalez is co-executive producing Hulu’s TV adaptation of her novel. She lives in her hometown of Brooklyn.
