Life Drawing, also referred to as Figure Drawing, is the best and quickest way to improve your drawing skills and your visual perception. Life drawing trains your eye to catch things that photos do not show. Therefore learning to master figure drawing is more than bones and muscles, it is about the subtle differences and minor details such as weight-bearing and positioning that translates to all forms.
During this 90-minute session, live models pose draped for short “gesture” as well as longer poses. This program is ideal for individuals interested in portrait painting, character design, illustration, animation, anatomical drawing, however ALL artists benefit from Life Drawing sessions.
Artists are invited to bring their own materials and supplies.
This activity doesn’t provide formal instruction; participants work at their own pace and in their preferred medium.
Space available for 6 participants per session, so register early!
