Prior to joining “Legends in Concert” as Elton John, Rus Anderson was as an actor in “Joseph & The Technicolor Dreamcoat” and “The Little Shop of Horrors.” It was his theatrical experience that led him to perform as a young Elton John in the tribute show “Rocket Man.” He typically wears items onstage that Elton John actually wore – including his signature white framed, red lens Dennis Roberts glasses (worn at most of his 1973-74 concerts including the Hollywood Bowl).
