GRAMMY® Award-winning country singer LeAnn Rimes will bring her “You and Me and Christmas Tour 2019” to The Pavilion at Seminole Casino Coconut Creek on Saturday, December 14, at 8 p.m.

This will be Rimes’ seventh annual Christmas tour, which will visit 11 cities up and down the east coast. She will be performing holiday favorites, career hits and songs from her Hallmark TV movie It’s Christmas, Eve soundtrack.

Rimes, who has sold more than 37 million records worldwide, rose to stardom at the early age of 13 following the release of her version of the Bill Mack song “Blue.” Subsequently, she became the youngest country music star since Tanya Tucker in 1972 and immediately gained national attention for her similarity to Patsy Cline’s vocal style.

Rimes’ debut album, also titled “Blue,” was released in 1996 and reached number one on the Top Country Albums chart. The album was certified multi-platinum in sales by the Recording Industry Association of America. Since then, she has placed over 40 singles on American and international charts.

Among Rimes’ numerous hits are “How Do I Live,” “The Light in Your Eyes,” “I Need You,” “One Way Ticket (Because I Can),” and “Can’t Fight the Moonlight.”

Rimes has captured many awards during her career including two GRAMMYs, three Academy of Country Music Awards, a Country Music Association Award, 12 Billboard Music Awards and one American Music Award.

Beyond her successful music career, the Jackson, Mississippi, native has been actively involved with charitable endeavors over the years. She once participated in a public service announcement about the autoimmune disease, psoriasis, which she has battled throughout her life. Additionally, she lent her voice to the song, “Just Stand Up,” which benefitted the Stand Up to Cancer organizations.
