Tsukasa (Keiko Kitagawa) is confined to a wheelchair and suffers from an impaired memory, but she doesn’t let these things stop her from leading a life filled with love and sports. Meanwhile, Masami (Ryô Nishikido) is a local taxi driver with a charming smile and a love for basketball. When the two meet, something clicks and they gradually fall in love.

Part of the Consulate-General of Japan in Miami and Cinema Paradiso’s “The Love in Japan Movie Screening” series, a three-day showing of three Japanese films on September 17, 19 and 20, “I Just Wanna Hug You” (directed by Akihiko Shiota) will be screened Monday, September 19, 2016 at 5:30 p.m.
