Broward County Library invites the entire community to celebrate the wonderful contributions Hispanics have made to this great nation.

Jessica Muñiz-Collado, composer, sound designer, and college professor will discuss the Hispanic music impact on American culture, leadership, success, and conduct a music performance.

Paco Moreno, a native from the highland of Ecuador, is an educator, musician, and storyteller. Paco and his band will play a wide range of wind, string, and percussion instruments used in the Andes.

Carrie Sue Ayvar, a nationally renowned storyteller, will conduct a storytelling event. Carrie Sue Ayvar will celebrate the rich Hispanic traditions with a fun-filled, bilingual exploration of Latin-American folklore. Flowing seamlessly between Spanish and English she chooses from her large repertoire of personal and traditional tales to connect people, languages, and culture through her stories.

You’ve seen them perform at the Super Bowl. Now see Xperimento perform at the Broward County Library. Xperimento is a bilingual, multicultural, cross-genre, All-Star band from Miami, FL. that blends world sounds. In other words TREMENDO PARTY! These Grammy-nominated artists burst with flavor crafting clever mashups, slick improvisation, and endless dance energy!
