Frank Contemporaries is a free monthly pop-up exhibition and meet-up for emerging creative and visual arts professionals to network and foster connections. In honor of Women’s History Month, March’s Frank Contemporaries will showcase the fiber artworks of Jamaican artist Michelle S. Drummond, resident artist at The Arts Warehouse arts incubator, and the ‘Girl Noticed’ arts initiative by Lori Pratico. This event will include an interpretive dance performance by the multidisciplinary artists of FLUXUS HAUS led by choreographer and producer Agatha Wright, as well as a presentation by the representatives of Girl Power, a Miami-based non-profit that enables young girls to build confidence, competence and personal pride through workshops and programs that address the risks and consequences associated with substance abuse, low self-esteem, lack of education and more. This event is free to the public. Complimentary refreshments and hors d’oeuvres will be served.
