Come join us on May 20, 2017 in a fun-filled, thought provoking event that commemorates the struggles and triumphs of African American people in the state. Help us commemorate the day that blacks were emancipated from enslavement after the Civil War. Consider where we have come from, imagine where we should be. Admission is FREE. Vendors will be on site. This marks the 152nd anniversary of the day (May 20, 1865) that black were emancipated from slavery in the state of Florida.
