ALAN B LEVAN | NSU BROWARD CENTER OF INNOVATION (Levan Center) to host First Responders Startup Showcase Presented by 211 Broward on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at 2:00PM.

  • The Levan Center’s First Responders Startup Showcase will provide entrepreneurs with the opportunity to share their new and emerging technologies in the First Responders Industry.
  • Startups will live pitch their concepts and solutions to an audience of investors, strategic partners, and community members.
  • The four presenting organizations are:
    • CERA (Technology/Safety): Critical Event Response Applications (CERA) is an active threat, real-time response system that connects police and medical responders with teachers, students, and other citizens through an App and web application. CERA automates key tasks providing police and first responders a live overview of an incident.
    • Team RKT (Technology/Software): Ross and Kendall Technologies (RKT) specialize in mobile simulation hardware and the associated software to create an effective and realistic training platform for all aviation, first responders and military personnel. RKT has created the first patent-pending Mobile Aircraft Simulation Trainer (MAST), which is a portable, ground-based aviation tool designed to provide hands-on experience in response to emergencies aboard an aircraft.
    • FloodLAMP (Technology/Health Diagnostics): FloodLAMP provides rapid and reliable molecular testing to any location. Developed to find unknown infections and stop the spread of viruses within schools, communities, and workplaces, FloodLAMP programs are fully run on-site or near site, at the point-of-need.
    • Clearpath Alerts LLC (Technology/Safety): Clearpath is a leading provider of safety and emergency preparedness technology and training solutions for government entities, institutions, corporations, and event organizers. Clearpath has developed a cloud-hosted emergency planning management platform entitled TOTALITY™, the Public Safety Bomb Technician Incident Notification System networking application and Prepare My School online training program for school personnel around the world.
  • This inaugural event is intended to set the stage for future first responder technologies, entrepreneurs, and community members to grow with the Levan Center and showcase their work to the South Florida community. The event will provide the pitching organizations with exposure to potential customers, investors, and community members.
