Join artist Eric N. Mack and Bonnie Clearwater, NSU Art Museum Fort Lauderdale Director and Chief Curator, for a conversation about Mack’s current exhibition Lemme walk across the room, his artistic trajectory and the influences that have impacted his practice. A live Q&A will follow the discussion.
Lemme walk across the room expands the boundaries of painting, sculpture, and fashion while dynamically reflecting and framing the rich visual experiences of the everyday. Originally presented at the Brooklyn Museum, Mack’s installation is reimagined at NSU Art Museum with textile-based works hung, mounted, and draped in conversation with the architecture of the Museum’s grand second floor gallery.
