Who: Belmont Village Senior Living Fort Lauderdale and guest speaker Joyce Mahoney, CTRS, APRS, and Regional Vice President of Memory Care and Programming at Belmont Village Senior Living, is hosting Dementia 101: An Educational Series Part 2.
What: With an estimated 1 in 7 Americans aged 70 and over living with Alzheimer’s or another form of dementia, the second part of this popular series will navigate dementia as a caregiver and family member, and touch on family dynamics, including how to help family members help caregivers and their loved ones. The seminar will also cover an issue many caregivers face—navigating behaviors that are often seen with dementia, and will cover new approaches and techniques to effectively care for loved ones in difficult times.
