Who: Belmont Village Senior Living Fort Lauderdale with speaker Joyce Mahoney, Regional Vice President of Memory Care and Programming at Belmont Village Senior Living, is hosting Dementia 101: An Educational Series on June 14, 15, and 16.
What: In time for Alzheimer’s and Brain Awareness Month, the series will educate caregivers on effective, evidence-based practices for managing the day-to-day care of a loved one with dementia. Throughout the series, methods for assisting oneself and family members in developing clear goals of care for individuals with dementia, so that the care they receive is consistent with their wishes, will be explored. Attendees may register for the series or a single class.
