This free filmmaking workshop offers participants an inside look at the tricks and tools of filmmakers who must tell their story through your eyes. After analyzing and breaking down an actual film scene, participants will then collaborate to shoot their own version.
Nerissa Street is an award-winning arts educator and storyteller. She has presented the transformative power of storytelling to audiences including South by Southwest®, TEDx, Images and Voices of Hope, and the Women’s Media Center. Her organization, Girls Call The Shots, works with teen girls to develop their voices in film and media through professional mentorship and production experience.
