Rebuilding Together Broward County, a nonprofit organization that brings volunteers and communities together to improve the homes and lives of low income homeowners, is hosting its second annual “Black Dresses & Blueprints,” a cocktail reception and awards ceremony celebrating women in the construction industry. The event will recognize outstanding women who are leaders within and have made an impact in the construction industry and their community.

Honorees will include Tamara Chase, CEO and co-founder of Chase Roofing; Joy Lynskey, founder and creative director at Jewel Toned Interiors; and Stephanie Rodriguez, regional senior vice president of Duke Realty. Sisters Mia Bella Nepola and Ava Nepolawill be honored with the Young Rebuilder Award.

Those in attendance will include companies and individuals in construction-related industries and local leaders and influencers. The fundraising objective of the event is $100,000. Cocktail attire is preferred.

Parking will be available at the A&E Parking Garage (corner of SW 5th Ave. and SW 2nd St.), or at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts valet, both for a charge.
