Broward County Library invites children and families to enjoy a free, amazing week of online entertainment and activities at the 19th Annual StoryBook Festival, held at 4PM from Monday, November 9th thru Friday, November 13th, with a special 11AM session on Saturday, November 14th. This year’s theme is “Home Is Where the Heart Is!”
The online 19th Annual StoryBook Festival offers attendees (children ages 10 and under) a range of programs. Log in each day at 4PM to enjoy the fun!
- Nov. 9 – Get Artsy: Craft a heart art project and/or journal with Marci Poppins.
- Nov. 10 – Get Curious: Learn about stop-motion and/or make a digital comic.
- Nov. 11 – Get Exploring: Explore free resources on your own.
- Nov. 12 – Get Entertained: Watch favorite duo Piggie and Gerald.
- Nov. 13 – Get Comfy: Play an online game with your library friends.
- Nov. 14 – Get Literary: Enjoy programs that bring stories to life.
Participants can complete activities in Broward County Library’s Beanstack StoryBook Challenge for digital badges and a chance to win a book. Children are also encouraged to “Get Exploring” by checking out the free Broward County Library online resources for families or the City of Pembroke Pines’ Frank Art Gallery virtual classroom.
