On Saturday, November 4th at 8 am Special Olympics athletes will grace the campus of Nova Southeastern University to run alongside members of the community in the 12th annual Sallarulo’s Race for Champions 5K Run/Walk. The Sallarulo’s race for Champions is one of the largest Special Olympics events featured in South Florida where 100’s of athletes, families, spectator and supporters come together. This certifying race will showcase all participants as equals. The race will conclude with a Carnival of Champions celebrating everyone’s accomplishments and honoring Special Olympics Athletes of Broward County.
