Susan Renneisen is Vice President of Community Affairs & Special Events at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida. With more than two decades at the resort, she has been instrumental in shaping its growth into a globally recognized entertainment destination since opening in 2004. She leads the production of high-profile events ranging from red carpet premieres to large-scale festivals, casino openings and large corporate events  while also overseeing charitable sponsorships and community partnerships. Originally from Philadelphia, Susan built her reputation working for several casinos in Atlantic City and Las Vegas.

Susan’s work extends well beyond event production. She is deeply committed to philanthropy and has built lasting relationships with nonprofit organizations throughout South Florida, helping drive meaningful impact across the region. She is a dedicated mentor who actively supports the advancement of future female leaders and plays an active role in mentoring Seminole tribal members through the Tribal Career Development Program.

Her leadership and community involvement have earned her significant recognition. In 2025, she was named a Women Trailblazer by History Fort Lauderdale, honoring her lasting influence and contributions. She has also received the GLBX Business Community Ally of the Year Award, Big Brothers Big Sisters Child Advocate Award and Legacy Award, Pantry of Broward Fundraising Award, Business Woman of the Year honors from both the Greater Hollywood Chamber of Commerce and Atlantic County, the MarCom Gold Award for Best Special Events, BizBash Magazine’s Event Planner of the Year, Woman of Style & Substance from Symphony of the Americas, the Winterfest Captain’s Award for Outstanding Service, the Florida Commission of Tourism Flagler Award for Best Special Events, United Way Women’s Way Volunteer of the Year, induction into the Jason Taylor Foundation Community Hall of Fame, the Ann Storck Center Community Leadership Award and more.

Susan currently serves on the boards of Seminole Hard Rock Winterfest Boat Parade, The Ann Storck Center, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Broward County, The Russell Education Foundation, Habitat for Humanity, The Art and Culture Center of Hollywood, The Jason Taylor Foundation, and the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival.
