DESCRIPTION:Roman Viktyuk’s legendary play “The Maids” has been on

  story of two maids\, Solange and Claire\, who worship their Mistress whil
 e at the same time being consumed by envy.\n\nIn her absence\, they try on
  her clothes\, imitate her behavior\, and act out elaborate imaginary scen
 es.\nOne day\, carried away by their game\, they anonymously report Madame
 ’s lover to the police - and decide to kill her.\n\nThe actors bring thi
 s psychological drama to life through choreography\, movement\, and vocal 
 expression.\nThe intricate makeup evokes Japanese Kabuki theatre - a synth
 esis of music\, dance\, and drama\, where makeup carries deep symbolic mea
 ning.\n\nThe entire performance unfolds as a hypnotic show set to Dalida
 ’s greatest hits\, where the audience finds itself sympathizing with the
 se failed criminals and applauding them in fascination.\n\n“I believe th
 at ‘The Maids’ should be performed by men. Only men\,”\nsaid the leg
