DESCRIPTION:South Florida Symphony Orchestra (SFSO) closes out its popular 
 Summer with the Symphony chamber music series with a final intimate candle
 lit concert in Fort Lauderdale including a special meet-and-greet receptio
 n with the musicians.\n\n Bids a delightful farewell with a “Sweet Sere
 nade.” Dohnányi’s tender Serenade for String Trio and Dvořák’s sp
 irited Piano Quartet No. 2\, Op. 87 unfolds with exquisite lyricism and he
 artfelt expression\, creating a joyous finale. Musicians Huifang Chen (vio
 lin)\, Brando Wu (viola)\, Claudio Jaffe (cello)\, and Catherine Lan (pian
 o) will perform at 7:30 p.m. on Friday\, July 24\, at Center for Spiritual
  Living Fort Lauderdale.\n\nFrom sold-out masterworks performances to acco
 mpanying today’s musicians such as Natalie Merchant and Arrival from Swe
 den: The Music of ABBA to performing modern musical scores including Tim B
 urton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas and Back to the Future\, featurin
 g the iconic films screened live with audio and musical accompaniment\, So
 uth Florida’s largest symphonic orchestra is continuing its journey of e
 xcellence inspiring audiences of all ages and musical genres.\n\nThe serie
 s is presented under the artistic direction of Sebrina María Alfonso\, mu
 sic director of South Florida Symphony Orchestra\, and curated by SFSO pia
 nist Catherine Lan. Summer with the Symphony 2026 is presented with the su
