DESCRIPTION:NSU Art Museum Fort Lauderdale offers a sensory-friendly progra
 m FREE for children on the Autism Spectrum ages 6-17 and their families.\n
 \nExperience NSU Art Museum on Saturday\, April 11\, 2026\, from 9:30 –
  10:30 am\, before regular museum hours\, for a sensory-friendly environme
 nt and exclusive museum access. Join us as we make art and wander through 
 the museum with low lighting\, reduced noise\, and plenty of hands-on art 
 items. Sensory-friendly materials will be available for all visiting child
 ren on the spectrum\, including: noise-cancelling headphones\, weighted la
 p pads\, soft seating\, sensory-friendly art materials\, and a special gif
 t for each child.\n\nRegistration opens one month prior to each date. Regi
 stration will be closed on the Friday before each event at 5 pm. If you re
 gister but cannot attend\, please let us know so we can open your space fo
 r another family. Please do not register any other family but your own. If
