DESCRIPTION:NSU Art Museum Fort Lauderdale offers a sensory-friendly progra
 m FREE for children on the Autism Spectrum ages 6-17 and their families.\n
 \nExperience NSU Art Museum on Saturday\, October 10\, 2026\, from 9:30 
 – 10:30 am\, before regular museum hours\, for a sensory-friendly enviro
 nment and exclusive museum access. Join us as we make art and wander throu
 gh the museum with low lighting\, reduced noise\, and plenty of hands-on a
 rt items. Sensory-friendly materials will be available for all visiting ch
 ildren on the spectrum\, including: noise-cancelling headphones\, weighted
  lap pads\, soft seating\, sensory-friendly art materials\, and a special 
 gift for each child.\n\nRegistration opens one month prior to each date.\n
 \nAdmission to Sensory Saturday is FREE with required RSVP. Space is limit
 ed.\n\nRegistration will be closed on the Friday before each event at 5 pm
 . If you register but cannot attend\, please let us know so we can open yo
 ur space for another family. Please do not register any other family but y
