DESCRIPTION:May is Mental Health Awareness Month and NAMI Broward County wi
 ll host its fifth annual “Artful Minds” fundraiser on Saturday\, May 9
 th from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Mad Arts.\nArtful Minds is a showcase of the 
 arts and creativity igniting conversations about mental health and wellnes
 s and inspiring hope and the power of healing through the arts.\nThis unfo
 rgettable evening brings together donated artwork\, live music\, fashion\,
  stage performances\, and culinary arts all in support of mental health an
 d the movement to end stigma.\n\nArtists from across disciplines are donat
 ing their work in solidarity with those navigating mental health challenge
 s. Guests can bid on all artwork in an online art auction Funds raised fro
 m Artful Minds ticket sales\, art sales\, sponsorships\, and donations dir
 ectly benefit NAMI Broward County’s mission to enhance the quality of li
 fe for individuals and families affected by mental health conditions throu
 gh education\, support\, and advocacy.\n\nNAMI Broward serves more than 12
 \,000 individuals throughout Broward County each year\, and trained NAMI v
 olunteers bring peer-led programs and support groups to a wide variety of 
 community settings providing free education\, skills training\, and suppor
 t to those living with or supporting a loved one with a mental illness.\n\
