Imagine walking through a native forest and bending down and picking basil, bananas and other edible plants along the way.  Volunteers are needed to help work on this urban farm by planting, weeding, watering, and harvesting.  There is plenty of free parking in the park.

Important Volunteer Information:

•         The event is open to all caring neighbors, but minors should be at least 8 years of age and must be accompanied by an adult!

•         Proper attire is a t-shirt and pants – things you do not mind getting dirty!

•         Due to the outdoor activity, it is recommended all volunteers wear a hat, sunscreen, and insect repellent, plus bring their own water and snacks

  •   All tools will be provided.  However, for your personal comfort we request that you bring your own pair of garden gloves!
