SUMMARY:Arts Ballet Presents Dr. Ouch
DESCRIPTION:Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida opens its Spring season with Dr.
  Ouch!\, a vibrant and humorous ballet in two acts choreographed by Vladim
 ir Issaev. Inspired by the beloved children’s poems of Russian author Ko
 rnei Chukovsky\, the ballet follows the kind and quirky Doctor Ouch as he 
 travels to Africa to cure a group of sick monkeys. Dr. Ouch will also be p
 erformed at the Aventura Arts and Cultural Center from March 7-8.\nSet to 
 an engaging score by Morozov\, Lecoque\, and Kabalevsky\, this delightful 
 production features a cast of outstanding professional dancers joined by y
 oung and talented performers. Along his journey\, Doctor Ouch and his comp
 anions face wild and whimsical adventures—most notably when they are cap
 tured by a crew of silly and mischievous pirates\, led by the notorious Pi
 rate Barmalei!\nWith imaginative costumes by Jorge Gallardo and spirited c
 horeography that brings the story to life without words\, Dr. Ouch! delive
