DESCRIPTION:Lace up your sneakers and leash up your furry friends! The Huma
 ne Society of Broward County (HSBC) invites animal lovers of all ages to p
 articipate in the 2026 VCA Walk for the Animals on Saturday\, February 21\
 , 2026\, at Las Olas Intracoastal Promenade Park in Fort Lauderdale.\n\nTh
 is beloved annual event brings together thousands of community members for
  a morning of fun\, connection\, and wagging tails—all to support homele
 ss pets. This year’s goal is to raise $535\,000 to help provide shelter\
 , medical care\, and second chances for animals in need.\n\nParticipants m
 ay walk as individuals or form a “Pack” (team) with family\, friends\,
  or coworkers. Walkers can also enjoy an optional one-mile walk\, with or 
 without their dog\, along A1A\, offering magnificent views of Fort Lauderd
 ale’s beautiful beaches.\n\n“We are thrilled to welcome the community 
 back for another incredible Walk for the Animals\,” said Walk Co-Chair C
 arey Morgan. Co-Chair Michelle Watson added\, “Every step taken and ever
 y dollar raised directly supports lifesaving care for thousands of homeles
 s pets each year.”\n\nThe event features music\, entertainment\, vendor
