Congratulations to our Partners

The Riverwalk Fort Lauderdale Trust congratulates Riverwalk Board Member Al Padrón of PL & P Advertising for being selected as the agency of record for the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. Al and his firm have donated graphic services to the Riverwalk Trust over the last year, and we greatly appreciate their assistance.

The Broward Cultural Affairs Council recently announced the appointment of Chris Wren to the Council's Public Art and Design Committee (PAD). Wren currently serves as the Executive Director of the Downtown Development Authority and is professionally focused on contributing to the economic vitality and physical development of urban areas.

The Public Art and Design Committee, created in 1976, is designed to oversee the goals and mission of the Public Art and Design Program. The primary goals being: to create a better visual environment for the citizens of Broward County; to integrate the design work of artists into the development of county capital construction projects, and to promote tourism and economic vitality of the County through the enhancement of public places.

Our hats also go off to Riverwalk 100 Member Mark Budwig of S. Mark Graphics Florida, Inc. for being honored by the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce as Small Business Person of the Year. Mark, a Trustee Member of the Chamber, is also on the Board of Directors and Board of Governors. He and his firm have given many hours of time to the community and particularly the Chamber.

Finally, we owe great thanks to Riverwalk Board Member Kelley Shanley of the Broward Center for the Performing Arts for assisting us with organizational efficiency. Kelley serves as an inspiration to us all in the area of community service and thoughtful leadership.
