The exhibit contains photographs taken by the Reverend Dr. James Lafayette Glenn during his years as special commissioner to the Seminoles of Florida, from 1931 until 1936. The photographs on display in combination with documents, manuscripts, and additional photography make up the Fort Lauderdale Historical Society’s James L. Glenn Collection. These images and documents depict Seminole life in the Everglades during the 1930s.
